BC-PHCRN researchers part of national team funded to improve Canada’s ability to identify and respond to future pandemics

Congratulations to Rubee Dev and Nathaniel Hawkins, co-applicants on a large national team funded by the Canada Biomedical Research Fund to create a new approach to pandemic preparedness. Led by Andrew Pinto and the Upstream Lab at Unity Health Toronto, the project will improve the monitoring and early detection of pathogens while accelerating the development of vaccines, treatments and diagnostics.
